Ugh!!!!!! Ryder has been singing this all day!! Now I can’t get it out of my head!
Bigg Daddy’s on the m……….. make it stop!!!
Where did he even hear this song?!
So I’m dancing and rapping around the kitchen now. I suppose it’s my new thing. I’m so glad you’re not here to see me! I cook much better than I dance or rap.
I did the hip hop jive thing and whipped up a batch of these lovely little breakfast treats!
1 loaf white bread, crusts removed and rolled flat
8 oz pkg cream cheese
1 c sugar, divided into 1/2 c each
1 T cinnamon
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
1 egg yolk
Remove crust and roll bread slice flat with a rolling pin.
Mix cream cheese, egg yolk and 1/2 c sugar.
Mix 1/2 c sugar and cinnamon.
Spread cream cheese mixture on bread and roll up.
Dip each roll into melted butter then into cinnamon/sugar mixture.
Place on a cookie sheet and freeze at least 15 minutes and up to 24 hours.
When ready to bake, pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake on cookie sheet 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
This is a great dish to make the night before and refrigerate or freeze (up to a week)! Take them out, defrost in microwave on 50% power for 20 seconds, and pop them in the oven.
Do you have any make ahead breakfasts?
