I updated the picture of this great Sausage Dog in October 2013.
The original pictures below were posted in August 2012.
My photography sure has gotten better!

This sandwich, however, was a family favorite then and it’s still a family favorite!
I hope you’ll give it a try!

This is one of those easy-to-put-together meals on a night when you
have swim, soccer, and scouts!!
If you keep a well-stocked pantry, you can throw this together
quicker than driving through.
We also have them when Big Daddy is Smoking Boston Butts for
the guys to snack on during the day.
Keep these on hand, always, they’re good for breakfast or for sausage and cheese trays
I split half way through so they’ll cook faster.
You can use hot dog buns, I had these hoagie rolls already so I used them
I just like the green part of green onions
I don’t know if Sweet Baby Ray’s is available in your area, but look for it.
It is the best BBQ sauce ev-a! It’s smoky and sweet.
Throw these dogs on the grill or heat them in a 400 degree F oven until
they’re hot and brown a little.
I like to toast the bread while the dogs are cooking.
Then you built the dog.
Pour BBQ sauce on sausage, then layer on shredded cheese (we like cheddar)
sprinkle the green onions over cheese
and toast until the cheese melts
and there you go! enjoy!

I love the idea of a dressed up hot dog. my daughter would eat hot dogs every meal if I let her-this is a great way to add some more to it. I came over from NapTime creations link up, I'm excited to see more of your creations.
