Easy Wood Craft Project to Spice up Your Space!

Taking two steps forward and one step back is still progress!
Here’s a fun and easy craft project. I made these for my boys rooms. I already had paint; the disc and letters were under $10. It made a big impact for a little money.

I didn’t want them to be exactly the same so I did Ryder’s entire name and Lincoln’s initials.
They both have navy and cream with different accent colors in their rooms.
I intentionally did these color schemes so we could interchange items if needed.
Purchase wood discs from a craft store.
Choose wooden letters. They come in several different sizes and fonts.
Decide if you want to do the entire name or just initials.
Then choose color combos.
I only painted one coat of the blue on this one leaving it with a ‘denim’ look.
After painting the ‘J’, I sanded the edges to give it a worn look.
I painted the entire disc in a cream and free handed a blue rim.
I then took a silver paint pen and traced where the cream and blue met just to give it a more finished look.
Your close-up.
Ryder’s glow in the dark star!
