




Energy Balls
Ingredients
2 c dates, medjool
hot water, enough to cover dates
2 c raw almonds
1/4 tsp cinnamon, optional
1 tsp flax seed, optional
Directions
Soak dates in hot water 10 minutes. Drain. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Process dates, almonds, and cinnamon in a food processor until combined. It will be a thick paste. Remove and form into balls using a small ice cream scoop. Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees 16 to 18 minutes. This will dry out the balls and make them not sticky. Yield: 18 balls
1 ball = 1 serving
1 serving = 67 calories, 2.7 g fat, 1.4 g protein, 11.1 g carbs
