Pink Salty Dog / Call Me PMc

Call Me PMc Pink Salty Dog Cocktail
It’s 5 o’clock! Where’s your cocktail??
Sometimes Big Daddy and I like to try different cocktail concoctions. The original Salty Dog uses gin instead of vodka and regular grapefruit juice instead of pink grapefruit. So really, this isn’t a ‘Salty Dog’ at all, but hey, it does have a salt rim. And it is my blog, I can name it whatever, right? Regardless of the name it IS refreshing and light; the perfect Spring cocktail. Yes, please!

Pink Salty Dog

Yield: 1 serving
Ingredients
ice
3 oz ruby red grapefruit
1 oz vodka
1/2 tsp grenadine
salt for rim
Lime wedge for garnish
Directions
Run a lime wedge around edge of glass and roll in salt. Fill a cocktail glass with ice. Add grapefruit, vodka,  and grenadine to glass. Stir. Garnish with lime if desired. Serve and enjoy!
What’s your favorite Spring cocktail?
Now if only I have some of the little umbrellas below to put in my drink!
