FISH TACO SAUCE

This fish taco sauce is the perfect blend of mayo, yogurt, lime juice, green onions, cilantro, and hot sauce. It adds great flavor to your salad, tacos, fish, shrimp, and more!

Fish Sauce
You can always buy tartar sauce to go on your fish tacos, but this homemade version is so much better! You’ll be surprised at how simple it is to make and what a punch of flavor it gives everything you put it on.
Not only is this good on fish and shrimp tacos, but it’s great on fish and chips too.

FISH TACO SAUCE

If possible mix the sauce together at least an hour beforehand. This will allow all the flavors to get to know each other. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until your tacos are ready.

Slice your green onions thin and chop the cilantro into small pieces.

Next, stir together the mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, green onions, cilantro, lime juice, Sriracha, cumin, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

Finally, store it in your refrigerator in a covered bowl or mason jar. It will last for about one week.

I love this sauce! It is lighter than tartar sauce and the Southwest flavors go so well with the fish tacos. It’s my new sauce!

  3. Hi–I'm visiting and following from the Mom's Monday Mingle. I'm going to have to try this recipe soon. Look forward to reading your posts.

  4. Looks like something my hubby would LOVE! He's obsessed with greek yogurt for the protein content. He's also the one who likes a little more “spice” in his food. I'm betting the kids will stick with Ranch, too . . . but I know this would be a welcome change for DH!

Stopping by from Mom's Monday Mingle and now following you on GFC! Hope you will swing by morethanmommies.net and say hi!

  5. Oooh, a kick would be good for me – my kiddos probably wouldn't like it too much, though! LOL
