Lemon Dill Mayonnaise

When it comes to condiments, I like to mix it up. You can take a ‘regular old burger’ and kick it up merely by adding a unique, tasty, and zesty sauce. Much to the dismay of my oldest, who prefers all is burgers and sandwiches dry naked.

If you’re so inclined, you can make the mayonnaise from scratch in this recipe. I tend to use a store-bought mayonnaise base and save myself the time.

I add in herbs and spices and top it off with Worcestershire sauce. Worcestershire adds an earthy note and in my opinion, is 1. needed and 2. has no substitution.

You’ll want to mix this up in advance of making your sandwich. Hours in advance would be best if you have the time. This way the flavors have time to love on each other and ultimately taste better on your sandwich.
