Some of the tastiest appetizers are also the simplest. Take a Charcuterie platter for instance, what could be more simple than piling cheese, meat, and crackers on a board? These are the perfect finger food that adds a fancy feel to the table.

 Blackberry Bites.

What makes Blackberry Bites bites so nice, other than the ease of making them, is the flavor combination. The tart, sweet berries mixed with earthy basil and creamy mozzarella is a flavor explosion for your mouth.

You can use another cheese, but I do love fresh mozzarella.

 Blackberry Bites

This concept work for any bite-sized piece of fruit. Here are some other combinations to try.

  • grapes and fontina
  • green apples and gouda
  • pears and sharp cheddar
  • blueberries and brie
  • peaches and goat cheese

All you need to do is take a bite-size piece of the fruit and stack it on a toothpick with cheese.
