Hi friends! Welcome to Saturday Dishes and thanks for stopping by!
Today the feature is recipes with cinnamon.
What is cinnamon?
It’s a spice used in both sweet and savory dishes. It comes from the inner bark of a certain evergreen tree belonging to the cinnamomum family. Dried it produces wonderful flavors, as I’m sure you know. It’s harvested during the rainy season when the bark is flexible and easier to work with. It’s been cultivated and used for centuries.
Be sure to scroll down and link up your awesome cinnamon recipes.
Last week I announced tha Linda and I would not be continuing Saturday Dishes after the end of this year. I’m so excited to tell you that the ladies from Coffee With Us 3, Jamie, Kerry and Lucy, and Diane at Recipes for a Daily Bread, are going to take it over! Yay!! Big round of applause!
Beginning with the January 4th party, they will be your new host so please keep linking up! Check their blog for new weekly ingredient lists and all that jazz!
