This is a great way to use up leftover candy after the holiday. I used chopped Snickers but use any leftover candy that you have or that your kids will let you have. I think Butterfingers, Three Musketeers, M & Ms, Mounds and Milky Way bars would all be great options.

Mix dough together according to package directions.
Press into a 8 x 11.5 inch dish and bake.
As soon as you remove crust from oven, sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Allow the chips to heat through, spread to form a layer of icing over the cookie crust.
Sprinkle chopped candy bars over chocolate.
Let cool completely before cutting.

- 1 17.5 oz package sugar cookie mix
- 1 stick butter softened
- 1 egg
- 1 c chocolate chips
- 2 c candy of your choice chopped
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 8 x 11.5 casserole dish with non-stick spray. Mix cookie dough according to directions on package and using tips of fingers press into pan in a flat layer. Bake 21 minutes are until set and edges begin to brown. Remove from oven and spread chocolate chips over cookies in an even layer. Allow chips to sit on cake 1 to 2 minutes; spread chips into a thin layer over the cookies. Immediately sprinkle the chopped candy bars on top. Allow to sit and cool completely before cutting.
