16mediumpickled okraor pickled vegetable or marinated mushrooms
6 to 8 ouncesnutsalmonds, peanuts, pistachios
crackers, breadsticks, strawberries, tomatoes or cheesethat you enjoy
Place smaller items like nuts, seeds, and olives or grapes in the bottom.
Fold your meats in half or quarters (depending on how big they are) and thread on a skewer alternately with cheese cubes and olives. You can also add fruit to a skewer. Add a couple to each jar at the back.
Add thin breadsticks or pickled okra. Basically, you'll add the tallest items to the back and fill in with the other items. There's no wrong way so have fun with it.
Fill with more fruit and nuts to fill the jar.
I don't recommend making these longer than 2 hours before you serve them. Store them in the refrigerator in a container if you have one large enough. This will help prevent the it from drying out.
