Pimento Cheddar Cheese Grits Recipe is a perfect side dish when entertaining at brunch. They are smooth, creamy, cheesy, and studded with flavorful pimentos.
1 and ¼cupscheddar cheesegrated (or your favorite cheese)
1/4teaspoonground black pepper
4-ounce jarpimentosdiced, drained
⅛teaspooncayenne pepperoptional
GarnishOptional: sliced green onions
Instructions
Bring cream, milk, butter, and salt to a boil.
Whisk in grits and reduce heat to medium.
Cook 7 to 8 minutes whisking constantly.
Remove from heat and stir in cheese, cream cheese, pimentos, black pepper, and, if desired, cayenne pepper.
Plate and serve hot.
