Greek Yogurt Cheesy Sausage Quick Bread Recipe
Easy, tasty, and hearty, Greek Yogurt Cheesy Sausage Quick Bread Recipe is the best sausage bread you'll ever make. It's perfect for breakfast, snack, or with a salad or soup.
Servings 8 slices
- 1 pound pork sausage cooked, crumbled, & drained
- 1 cup Pepper Jack cheese shredded
- 1 large egg at room temp
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 green onion sliced (about 1 Tablespoon) *optional
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (no fat, low fat, for regular) or sour cream, regular yogurt, or buttermilk
- 2 cups baking mix
Spray a 5x9-inch loaf pan with non-stick spray. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cook sausage, crumbling as you stir. Drain. Shred cheese as sausage cooks.
Whisk together egg, salt, pepper, green onion, milk, and yogurt.
Stir in baking mix, sausage, and cheese.
Pour into prepared pan.
Cook at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes.
