 Quick Bread

If I had this Cheesy Sausage Quick Bread waiting on me, I’d have no problem getting out of bed!

Unfortunately, I’m the maker of the bread.

 Quick Bread

To be honest, I wanted a similar recipe to Sausage Balls. The boys love them but I got tired of making Sausage Balls. Granted this takes longer to cook, but it’s super easy to stir together and I don’t have to get the mixer out.

If you’ve been following my site for very long, you know I love easy recipes. With two teenage boys, I don’t have time to pittle around with recipes. I also don’t have the patience for a long complex recipe. 😁

To cut fat and calories, you can use turkey sausage. I substitute turkey sausage in this bread at times and my family cannot tell the difference.

Also, I use what cheese I have on hand. My favorite is the Colby cheddar mix indicated in the recipe box below. Havarti is another favorite of mine and it’s scrumptious in this bread.

Additionally, you can omit the green onions if you prefer. Or, you can dice regular onions and add them. I like to cook Vidalia onions with the sausage.

As well, you can make them into muffins and cut your cook time. To cook large muffins, it will take about 25 minutes.

I used this baking mix.

Perfect for a quick and easy breakfast! I had to make a few substitutions as a few of the ingredients used aren’t available here in Aus, but turned out well regardless.
