Cooking Tips

  1. Prep Like a Pro: Before you start coating the pork chops, pat them dry with a paper towel. This ensures the breadcrumbs adhere better, giving you that perfect crunch.
  2. Even Coating is Key: Ensure each pork chop is evenly coated with the Panko and Parmesan mixture. This guarantees a uniform crunch and flavor in every bite.
  3. Golden Brown Goodness: Fry the nuggets until they achieve a beautiful golden brown color. This not only enhances the visual appeal but also ensures an irresistible crispy texture.
  4. Don’t Overcrowd the Pan: Fry the nuggets in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan. Overcrowding can lead to uneven cooking and a less-than-optimal crunch.

Panko Parmesan Pork Nuggets FAQ

Q1: Can I use bone-in pork chops for this recipe?
A: While boneless chops work best for easy bite-sized nuggets, you can certainly use bone-in chops. Adjust the cooking time accordingly to ensure thorough cooking.

Q2: Can I bake these nuggets instead of frying?
A: Yes, you can bake as well as air-fry them! Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for approximately 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remember to flip them halfway through for even cooking.

Q3: Can I substitute the mayo?
A: If you’re not a fan of mayo, you can use plain yogurt or buttermilk as a substitute. It adds a similar creaminess without compromising the flavor.
