- 8 ounces pasta
- 6 ounces cream cheese cut into cubes
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 5 tablespoons whole milk
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste taste before adding the salt, Parmesan and Cajun seasoning tends to be salty
Cook pasta according to directions on the package.
While the pasta is cooking, start the cream sauce.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook 2 to 3 minutes until garlic is frangrant.
Turn the stove on low and add cream cheese, milk, and seasonings. Cook and stir until cream cheese is melted and mixture is smooth. Do not boil.
Stir in the parmesan cheese and the drained, cooked pasta. Stir to combine. Garnish with parsley or sliced green onions. Serve immediately.
