Notes

Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing. This ensures a smooth, lump-free texture.

As well, it’s pertinent that you mix the cream cheese and sugar until smooth before adding the other ingredients. Otherwise, you risk the cream cheese having lumps in it.

Parchment paper or a silicone mat is key. Otherwise, you’ll have difficulty removing the bark from the pan without making a mess.

Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet. This helps the bark freeze uniformly and makes it easier to break into pieces.

Let the bark freeze for at least 2 hours, or until completely solid. Overnight is best for a firm, easy-to-break bark.

Use a sharp knife to cut the bark into pieces once it’s fully frozen. This helps create clean, even pieces.

Store the frozen bark in an airtight container in the freezer to prevent freezer burn and keep it fresh.
