What are Crinkle Cookies Made of?

Crinkle cookies have butter, sugar, cocoa powder, eggs, flour, baking powder, and salt. You’ll roll the dough into balls and powdered sugar. When you bake the cookies, they expand causing crinkles, or cracks, in the powdered sugar.

How do I know when Crinkle Cookies are done?

I recommend cooking them for the shortest amount of time recommended. When the cookies are crack, carefully open the oven and test the edge of one cookie with a spatula. If it’s firm and appears ‘set’ and the center of the cookie appears ‘dry’ (not glossy). They will firm and set more as they cool.
