Cherry Cream Cheese Pie Bubble-Up

The cherry pie filling offers a fruity flavor, while the cream cheese adds a rich, creamy texture. Adding brown sugar and butter to the pie filling makes more sauce, which is needed to coat the biscuit pieces. The result is very much like a cobbler. I added chunks of cream cheese that contrast nicely with the sweet filling.

🥘 Tips and notes

  • Even Distribution: When adding the cream cheese cubes, distribute them evenly throughout the dish. This ensures that each bite has a bit of creamy goodness.
  • Melt the Butter: Make sure it is fully melted before mixing it with the brown sugar. This helps to combine the ingredients more smoothly and coats the biscuits evenly.
  • Baking Time: Check the dish around the 45-minute mark. The top should be golden brown, and the biscuits should be cooked through. If the top browns too quickly, cover it with foil for the remainder of the baking time.
