When you need a potluck dish or appetizer in a flash, this is the recipe for you! Seriously, it doesn’t even take 5 minutes to stir together.

CINNAMON CHEESECAKE DIP

If you’ve ever tried to mix cream cheese, you know how difficult it is when the cream cheese is cold. For this recipe, you don’t even have to remember to set it out to soften. You can pop it in the microwave for a few seconds until it gets soft then blend it easily with the other ingredients. Furthermore, you can serve this dip warm or at room temperature.

I’m crazy about cinnamon rolls and this is pretty much like cinnamon roll frosting. You can bake canned cinnamon rolls or breadsticks to dip. Apple slices are great dippers too. As well, shortbread cookies or vanilla wafers are my favorite.

INGREDIENTS AND SUBS

  1. If you plan to serve this warm/hot, I don’t recommend light or low-fat cream cheese for this recipe. The regular, full-fat version will melt more smoothly. Light and low-fat cream cheese is best in cold recipes.
  2. You can even use whipped cream cheese and save a little time.
  3. As well, I used real butter and have not tested this recipe with margarine.
  4. If you watch carb consumption, I find Swerve easy to substitute for sugar since it a cup for cup swap.
