  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Carefully slice the bread in half lengthwise and lay the two halves on the sheet pan.
    1 pound loaf French bread
  • In a medium bowl, stir together the softened butter, light brown sugar, and cinnamon until fully combined.
    ½ cup butter, ½ cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • Divide the butter mixture and spread evenly on the two halves of bread.
  • Bake for 25 minutes until the butter mixture is melted and the bread is crusty. While it's baking, make the glaze.
  • Whisk together the cream cheese, butter, confectioners sugar, vanilla, and heavy cream until smooth. Stir in the pecans.
    2 ounces cream cheese, 1 tablespoon butter, 2 cups powdered sugar (aka confectioners), ½ teaspoon pure vanilla, 2 to 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream, ⅓ cup pecans
  • Drizzle glaze over the cinnamon roll french bread. Cut into slices. (You can serve the glaze on the side for dipping instead of dripping it over the top.)
