Fizzy Bourbon Lemonade Recipe, for bourbon lovers, this sip will keep you cool during the hot summer! It’s sweet, tart, refreshing and has a bourbon kick.
I realize that most bourbon drinkers don’t like to add anything to their bourbon. But, this drink, just wow… There’s just something fantastic about an ice cold glass of lemonade on a hot summer day. Lemonade, bourbon, mint, and ginger ale.. Whew, it’s the BEST!
Fizzy Bourbon Lemonade Recipe
So here I have your end of the season staple. This cocktail is an incredibly simple 3-ingredient recipe that is refreshing and satisfying. As well, it’s easy to prepare for one or two. You can even quickly whip up a pitcher for an impromptu gathering.
Homemade lemonade would work great in this, but premade will too. I always get Simply Lemonade in the refrigerated section. It tastes like homemade. (Simply Lemonade, Simply Limeade, Simply Peach, etc line of drinks make great mixers.)
I used the Simply Lemonade light for this recipe. However, you can use another store-bought or homemade lemonade. As well, you can use freshly squeezed lemon juice and simple syrup. (You’ll a total of 2 ounces so use as much or little of the simple syrup to make it as sweet as you want.)
Obviously, this Fizzy Bourbon Lemonade Recipe is an alcoholic drink. However, if you’d prefer an alcohol free version, or want to serve it to kids, then just omit the bourbon. Adding fizz with ginger ale makes sweet and tart lemonade a treat.
You could also add some additional ginger ale if you wanted to make the drink stretch a little farther for a crowd.
