Made this for New Years Eve and it was a hit! Everyone loved it ❤️

For my recipe, I used a chocolate cake mix for the cake. You could also use a brownie mix. As well, you can make homemade chocolate cake or brownies.

Another option, I love to make these in individual servings. I used disposable clear punch cups. You can serve it in shot glasses. Yet another option, you can make it one large trifle dish. A large trifle makes a stunning display. I love it when food looks as pretty as it tastes!

If you’re making this dessert for a party or potluck, you can easily double the recipe.

  3. Yum! I'm with you that is a fun twist rather than the cupcake. I know what I am making for the next family get together. Thanks.

  4. DELICIOUS! Such a smart idea to pre-package em too, cause I too sometimes want to save dessert for later, but I never want to skip it! I love those easy pudding mixes don't you? I always use the cheesecake flavor to use as a sugar free/fat free fruit dip!
