ALMOND LATTE

I made this cocktail using Amaretto, Kahlua, cream, and milk. What’s not to love about these ingredients?

Amaretto

Italian for “bitter,) is a sweet, almond-flavored, Italian liqueur. Amaretto is made with apricot pits, almonds, or both. Amaretto can be drunk by itself, used as an ingredient to create several popular mixed drinks like this Amaretto Stone Sour, or added to coffee. It is also commonly used in culinary applications, like my Amaretto Pound Cake.

Kahlua

Kahlua is a coffee-flavored liqueur from Mexico. The drink contains rum, sugar, vanilla bean, and arabica coffee. Originating in Veracruz, Mexico 1936, Kahlúa is a brand name. It has become the number one selling coffee liqueur in the world. Relying on two of the region’s finest ingredients, sugarcane rum and 100% Arabica coffee. This liqueur is as rich as it is distinct.
