Cinnamon Roll Pie is an irresistible custard pie studded with cinnamon chips in a buttery flaky pie crust. It is gooey, decadent, and so easy. This chocolate chip pie is perfect for any occasion and only takes 5 minutes of prep. A family and potluck favorite!
This glorious dessert was inspired by another favorite, Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie.

CINNAMON ROLL PIE
This recipe has just a few ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry. I modeled it after our favorite chocolate chip pie and my favorite loves it.
The full recipe with ingredient amounts and instructions is at the bottom of this post. You can save a tree and save the recipe to your personal and private recipe box right here on Call Me PMc.
- Deep dish pie crust
- All-flour
- Eggs. Large eggs or the equivalent at room temperature.
- Granulated sugar
- Brown sugar
- Butter
- Cinnamon chips. These are the cinnamon chips that I use.

Try my Coconut Oil Pie Crust or my Never Fail Pie Crust. if you want to make the crust. Otherwise, you can use a premade pie crust.

Can I freeze cookie pie?
Yes! This is a freezer-friendly dessert. Furthermore, you can bake and then freeze it. Another option, you can freeze, thaw, and then bake it.
Can I make a deep dish pie with a regular crust?
If you have a regular pie crust instead of a deep dish, you can use it. Doing the fractions to reduce the amount is something I don’t want to figure out. In an instance like this, I fill the regular pie crust like normal, then I pour the extra into a greased muffin tin. It makes a great little nibble and will be ready before the larger pie is.

- 1 9-inch unbaked deep dish pie shell
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs room temp
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar firmly packed
- ¾ cup butter melted and cooled to room temp
- 1 cup cinnamon chips pictured below
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake pie shell for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and allow it to cool.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and allow it to cool to room temperature. It's very important to let it cool otherwise the mixture will cook the eggs and we don't want that.
- In a large bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Add flour, sugar, and brown sugar. Beat until well blended. Slowly whisk in the melted butter.
- Stir in cinnamon chips.
- Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes or until golden brown and the center is set.
- Allow the pie to cool and set. It's great served warm (not hot) with whipped cream or ice cream.

Where do you find cinnamon chips? I have never seen them in a store. Need Canadian stores.
Paula says
My Walmart has them where they have chocolate chips. The one’s I have are by Hershey’s. I know Amazon has them and maybe a bakery deli would have them in your area.
Deanna Lyn says
Hello i like to try this recipe but not sure where to find cinnamon chips
Paula says
They’re usually on the baking isle at stores where you find chocolate chips, peanut butter chips etc. They’re by Hershey. I used to have to get them when I went out of town to larger cities, but now my Walmart and Kroger carries them. Hope you can find them. Amazon has them too, if you can’t find them in stores and want to order.

You can also get them from kingarthurflour.com – they have a lot of ingredients that you don’t see in the supermarkets.
