Mojito Recipe Instructions

Basic instructions for preparing a mojito cocktial from this Mojito Recipe Collection. Additionally, you can change the ingredients but the basic instructions will remain the same.

  • Prepare the Mint Leaves: Take a highball or Collins glass and gently muddle the fresh mint leaves in the bottom of the glass using a muddler or the back of a spoon. This helps release the essential oils and flavors of the mint.
  • Add Lime Juice and Simple Syrup: Squeeze fresh lime juice (about half a lime) directly into the glass over the muddled mint leaves. Pour in the simple syrup (made by dissolving equal parts sugar and water) to add sweetness to the drink.
  • Combine with Rum: Pour the white rum into the glass containing the muddled mint, lime juice, and simple syrup.
