No Bake Almond Butter Protein Bars
I know there are endless options of snack and protein bars at the store. But, what I like about making my own is I control exactly the ingredients. I cut down on fat, sugar, and sodium.
As well, with this base recipe, you can change one ingredient and you have something new and unique.
This recipe is super simple. I have used honey and almond butter which acts as a binding agent. They hold the ingredients together and retains the shape. You can substitute maple syrup for the honey to add a whole new level of flavor.
These bars are surprisingly easy to make. They’re crunchy, chewy, and have just the right balance of sweetness without being overly sweet.

Yum! We love these. We prefer our snack bars to be chewy. And these were perfect. I actually subbed in dehydrated apple pieces for the cranberries and it worked perfectly.
