WHIPPED GOAT CHEESE WITH NOLA SAVORY PRALINE SAUCE

I’m a huge fan of goat cheese. But let me just tell you, whipping goat cheese makes it even better!! It becomes smooth and fluffy while maintaining the tang. So good!

I made a savory praline pecan sauce to top the goat cheese. How can praline be savory, you ask? Two ingredients, Worcestershire sauce and mustard add a savory flare to the sauce. And, although it has coconut sugar and is slightly sweet, Worcestershire and mustard add enough balance. The combination is superb!

This appetizer spread can be served either hot or cold. Actually, I can’t make up my mind about which way I like it better.

Another delicious and easy appetizer dip is Cranberry Jalapeno Salsa. You can serve it over whipped goat cheese, whipped feta, or a block of cream cheese.

HOW TO MAKE WHIPPED GOAT CHEESE

To a food processor, add goat cheese, Greek yogurt, and agave. Pulse for 30-second increments. You may need to stir the cheese between each pulse so that all of it gets creamy. At first, the cheese will break apart but keep processing and it will come back together and blend into a smooth and fluffy mixture.
