Caribbean Jamaican Jerk Fish Tacos with Lime Crema
Jamaican Jerk Fish Tacos bring bold island flavor to a simple weeknight meal. The fish cooks fast and stays moist with the right heat and timing. The tacos come together quickly and work well for casual dinners.
This recipe works best with firm fish that holds its shape on the grill or in a skillet. The jerk seasoning should coat the fish evenly but not too thick. Cook the fish just until it flakes easily, then rest it briefly before breaking it into pieces for the tortillas.
You can change up the toppings so they don’t become boring. Try your Tacos with Tangy Slaw, Apple Slaw, Black Bean Salsa, a lettuce mix, or a fruit salsa such as Strawberry Salsa.
I added Roasted Pineapple Salsa. The combination of Jamaican Jerk spice and sweet, hot pineapple salsa really hit all the flavor notes.

As well, I drizzled on Lime Crema. The Lime Crema adds a creamy, cool note and contrasts nicely with the spice and heat. (Please note, I didn’t add the Lime Crema to the tacos photographed. If I had you would not have been able to see the fish and beautiful salsa.)

Nutritional Information
Nutritional information depends on the type of fish and tortillas used. Fish provides lean protein and helpful fats. The dish can fit into balanced eating plans when paired with fresh toppings and lighter sauces.
Cooking Tips
Cook the fish on medium heat to avoid burning the seasoning. A grill pan or outdoor grill adds light char if preferred. Milder seasoning can be used for those who prefer less heat. Corn or flour tortillas both work well based on preference.

My question is, Where in the world do you buy your fish? I can’t find any that doesn’t come from China, Vietnam or Thialand. I just can’t handle foreign food. Thanks…..
I know, it’s sad. We have a local market that gets fresh fish from Florida every week.
Fish tacos are my favorite, and this variation is so unique! Your jerk seasoning looks amazing!
