Gnocchi Mac n Cheese

- 1 pound gnocchi
- 2 Tablespoon butter
- 2 teaspoon garlic finely chopped
- 1 Tablespoon self-rising flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 cup cheddar
- salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup Parmigiana Reggiano
- 1 Tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup panko
Instructions
- Cook one package gnocchi according to package. Drain.
- Toast panko in 1 Tablespoon melted butter until lightly browned.
Make the cheese sauce:
- Melt 2 Tablespoon butter in a saucepan. Whisk in 1 Tablespoon flour and cook 2 minutes, do not brown. Add milk. Bring to a boil, whisking constantly. After it comes to a boil, turn off and add cheese; stir until cheese melts. Add mustard, salt, and pepper to taste. Pour over gnocchi.
- Sprinkle toasted panko and Parmigiana Reggiano on top and cook in at 375° oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden.
