Bacon Cheese Bread Cooking Tips

  1. Biscuit Prep: Use canned biscuits for convenience. Separate each biscuit before baking to ensure even cooking.
  2. Bacon: Cook your bacon until it’s crisp. Crumble it into small pieces to spread it evenly throughout the bread.
  3. Cheese: Grate your cheese fresh. Pre-grated cheese may have additives that can affect melting.
  4. Assembly: Layer the biscuits, cheese, and bacon in your baking dish. This helps distribute the ingredients evenly.
  5. Baking: Keep an eye on the bread as it bakes. You want it to be golden brown and bubbly.

I tried this and the outer later was fabulous! The inside was still raw even after and extra 5 minutes of baking. I am going to try 1 layer next time in a larger pan and see how it works.

Super delicious, looks like a comfort food for all times and all seasons!:)
Since we live in Greece though, we only have salty crackers and vol au vent. Which do you think would be better to use instead of American biscuits? :/
Again, thank you for the DELICIOUS recipe!
