WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED?

  • Pork chops. Bone-in meat has more flavor but you can use either bone-in or boneless for this recipe.
  • Olive oil. Or any vegetable oil
  • Brown sugar. Brown sugar gives more flavor than white sugar. You can also use honey or agave.
  • Worcestershire sauce.
  • Soy sauce.
  • Garlic. Fresh crushed or minced garlic will always give you more flavor than dry garlic.
  • Smoked paprika. Or regular paprika.
  • Onion. As with garlic, a fresh onion will give you a lot more flavor. Use any variety.
  • Dijon mustard.
  • Thyme leaves.
  • Salt & Pepper. To your liking.
  • Parsley.

TIPS FOR JUICY MARINATED GRILLED PORK CHOPS

These pork chops are marinated for an hour. This gives them lots of flavors when grilled. As well, marinating the meat for a longer time will make it more flavorful. However, when you’re short on time, you can do a quick 15-minute marinade.

Get the grill nice and hot before placing the meat on the grill. This will help it sear in moisture.

HOW LONG WILL COOKED PORK CHOPS KEEP IN THE FRIDGE?

The USDA suggests you store cooked pork in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator at 40°F or less. Refrigeration slows but does not stop bacterial growth.
