Holy moly!!! The perfect treat for kids to MAKE and EAT!

RITZ KRISPIE TREATS

If you’re looking for a simple, no-bake snack recipe look no further.

These snack bars are amazingly good. And, they’re fun to make! Your kiddos will love to WHACK the crackers to break them! Nothing like a little pounding in the kitchen. Kids love it. Adults love it. 😄

Start to finish = 10 minutes! They do need to cool in order to cut clean squares, but if you can’t wait you just can’t wait and who cares if they’re cute perfectly! Right?

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO MAKE THESE RITZ KRISPIE TREATS {It’s not much!}

  • Butter
  • Marshmallows
  • Ritz Crackers. Or, other butter crackers.

Ritz Krispie Treats

EASY TO MAKE!

The method to make this dessert is exactly like it is to make traditional Rice Krispie Treats.

  1. First, melt the butter.
  2. Slightly crush the crackers. They’ll break up more as you stir them.
  3. Next, add the marshmallows and stir them together with the butter until they melt into a smooth, but sticky, concoction.
  4. Finally, add the crackers into the marshmallow and butter mixture. Stir to coat the crackers.
  5. Pour into an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch pan.
  6. Wait for the to set before you cut them. (If you can.) You can sit them in the refrigerator to speed up the process.
  7. Store your Twix Cookies in an airtight container on the counter. They’re good for about a week before they start getting stale.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cups miniature marshmallows I used 1½ 10-ounce bag
  • 3 cups Ritz crackers slightly crushed, 2 sleeves or 64 crackers

Instructions

  • Line an 8x8-inch or 9x9-inch square pan with non-stick aluminum foil or parchment paper leaving enough over-hang to use as 'handles' to remove the bars from the pan.
  • Melt butter in a large pot over medium-low heat.
  • Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  • Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the Ritz crackers.
  • Pour the mixture into your prepared pan and press flat on top. I find it easier to press with a spatula that's been sprayed with non-stick spray.
  • Allow treats to cool before cutting. You can refrigerate to speed up the process.
  • Store in an airtight container on the container.

Forget the kids! I want these all for myself – so good. (But of course, the kids love them too!) Thanks for another winner.
