Strawberry Fizz Cocktail
I’m in a full-blown love affair with this Refreshing Strawberry Fizz Cocktail. It is the easiest, tastiest cocktail ever and perfect for a lady’s brunch. Remember that Strawberry sauce I had you make with all those wonderful, in-season strawberries a couple of weeks ago? If you didn’t make it then, you’ll want to make it now.
This blushing cocktail is a simple combination of strawberry puree cooked with sugar until the sugar is melted and the strawberries are mushy. After it cools, I blend the mixture to break the strawberries into a jam-like consistency.
I like to add a spoonful of the strawberry mixture to the glasses before guests arrive, needing only the addition of the sparkling wine to complete the drink!
Another fun, festive, and easy drink is Champagne Floats.
They’re a festive cocktail for brunch parties or any occasion. Additionally, if you’re looking for an alcohol-free version, a strawberry or raspberry-flavored kombucha would make a lovely mocktail.

How to make the Strawberry sauce
- strawberries, fresh or frozen

In a saucepan, combine strawberries and sugar. Bring this mixture to a boil. Continue boiling for 3 to 4 minutes or until the sugar has dissolved. Using a potato masher, break the strawberries down. You can make the strawberry sauce beforehand and refrigerate. It will keep in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days in an airtight container.
