HOW TO MAKE A BAILEY’S PEPPERMINT MARTINI

  • Crush the peppermint and place it in a saucer.
  • Add corn syrup to another saucer.
  • Dip the edge of your glass in the syrup then in the crushed peppermint.
  • Mix coffee liqueur (Kahlua), the Baileys Irish Cream, heavy cream, peppermint vodka (Smirnoff ), and some ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Shake for 20 seconds.
  • Strain the martini mixture into your martini glass and serve.

BAILEY’S PEPPERMINT MARTINI INGREDIENTS

  1. Kahlua Coffee Liqueur
  2. Baileys Irish Cream
  3. Heavy cream
  4. Smirnoff peppermint vodka
  5. corn syrup
  6. peppermint sticks or candy canes

HOW TO MAKE A MARTINI WITHOUT A COCKTAIL SHAKER

You can mix a drink without a cocktail shaker one of two ways.

  1. You can use a large jar with a lid such as a canning jar. Put ice then your martini ingredients in the jar, tighten the lid, and shake vigorously.
  2. Put the ingredients in a large pitcher with ice and stir.

TIPS

  • Add the glasses to the freezer for about an hour before you plan to serve your martinis. This will keep the martinis colder longer.
  • If you don’t have corn syrup for the rim you can use chocolate syrup.
  • You can also add a simple candy cane or peppermint stick to the glass as a garnish instead of rimming the glass.
