SHRIMP FOIL PACKS IN OVEN

I used summer squash, zucchini squash, bell pepper, sweet onion, and green onions. You can add whatever vegetables you like. However, make sure to use vegetables that cook quickly. More quick-cooking vegetable options are asparagus, snow peas, baby boy Choy, broccoli, and cauliflower to name a few.

Furthermore, instead of shrimp, you can substitute with any type of fish like salmon, tilapia, halibut, or scallops.

CAN I MAKE SHRIMP FOIL PACKETS ON THE GRILL?

Absolutely! You can cook these on the grill or a campfire. They’re great for camping! I included instructions to cook these foil packs in the oven and on the grill below for your convenience.

  1. This looks delicious and easy! A great Idea for my lunch since I am a work at home mom. Thanks for sharing! I pinned it for later and would love for you to link this up at my linky party Thursday at http://www.juliakendrick.com! I hope to see you there!

  2. Foil pack dinners are very popular in South-Africa, but I not yet seen a recipe using shrimp, which I love! Pinned 🙂 The batteries had me think back to when my son was around two years old, he kept saying {always in the store} he wants “budgies” and for weeks we could not figure that one out – until he showed my Mom the batteries! Thank you for sharing another great recipe at the ALL MY BLOGGY FRIENDS party 🙂

  3. Uhm, that sounds awesome and easy enough for me to make (quite a feat). Thanks for this and happy happy SITS day! You have a great blog here 🙂

  4. Only 4 years… you are lucky. My kids are 8 and 10 and I'm still waiting for privacy in the bathroom!

This looks easy, but I'd have to sub out shrimp…only one of the 3 of us eats it and I'm not the “one!”

  5. Happy SITS day! I love the foil pack idea–we always used to do that when we went camping and the kids really enjoyed it. Good way for portion control when you are trying to watch your calories, too!

  12. Don't even get me started on the sock thing. It stresses me out just thinking about the daily shouts of “Mom, I don't have any socks!” or “Mom, do they HAVE to match?” Mercy. lol

Love, love, LOVE your blog. I'm visiting from SITS and will certainly be back!
