I turned the famous sandwich into a Kentucky Hot Brown Burger! It’s hearty, delicious, and a great way to use leftover turkey or chicken.

If you’re on the lookout for a mouthwatering dish that’s both easy to make and packs a punch of flavor, look no further than the Kentucky Hot Brown Slider. This delightful creation combines the savory goodness of ground turkey, the rich flavors of caramelized onions, and the irresistible crunch of baconโ€”all neatly packed into a slider bun.

Kentucky Hot Brown Burger

The Kentucky Hot Brown Burger is a variation of the traditional Hot Brown, an open-faced sandwich that originated at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky. The classic Hot Brown consists of turkey and bacon covered in Mornay sauce and baked or broiled until the bread is crispy and the sauce is bubbly.

The burger version adapts these elements into a burger format. You could include a ground turkey or turkey patty, bacon, and a Mornay sauce, all served on a bun. The Mornay sauce is a bรฉchamel sauce with shredded or grated Gruyรจre cheese and sometimes Parmesan. The resulting burger is a fusion of the classic Hot Brown flavors with the popular burger format.

The flavors of this Kentucky Hot Brown Burger are just too good: bacon, cheese, chicken…did I mention bacon?
