SEC football is like a religion here in the South. I love to watch the game and I love to socialize at the tailgate. I’m fortunate to tailgate on one of the prettiest campuses in the SEC, The University of Mississippi! We love our Rebels, we love the Grove and we love to tailgate! Sharing friendships, memories, food and, yes, cocktails is what we do best.

  1. so how do you keep hot items hot, cold items cold, and bugs and debris off of everything? For me, keeping everything at the correct temp, not drying out, etc is overwhelming. We arrive at UGA at 7am and the tailgate may not end until 10pm. Just wonder how you handle it. Thanks

    1. We usually serve the mains in trays with sterno warmers (like this https://amzn.to/3AuyoeI) under them. We don’t put them out until 11ish and take them up when they’re empty. (Doesn’t take long…2 hours.) We leave the other dips/chips, desserts, etc out the whole time with food covers like this https://amzn.to/3PveSTK . We don’t really tailgate 12 hours. Usually 11ish until after the game for 2 pm game, or 2ish until after for 6pm game.

  2. That's some serious tailgating!! I've never tried it, but I live in a college town, so maybe some day!

  3. Visiting from SITS!! What a tailgating guide!! Awesome!!

  4. Looks like an amazing tailgating party! I've had fish tacos…the fish nachos is definitely a must try. You're hubby is definitely taking it all in 🙂 Congrats on your SITS DAY feature!
